Our Medicines — Gateways to Remembering

AYAHUASCA

Ayahuasca is a traditional Amazonian plant medicine prepared from the banisteriopsis caapi vine and chakruna plants. It has been used for centuries by Indigenous cultures for healing, spiritual insight, and community rituals.

Today, Ayahuasca retreats in Brazil attract people from around the world seeking emotional healing, trauma release, clarity, and deep self-inquiry.

Our ayahuasca is Recognized by leading universitY as the purest & most high quality*

At our center in Alto Paraíso de Goiás, we work with a highly refined preparation of Ayahuasca that has been laboratory tested for purity in São Paulo and is considered #1 in the world in terms of purity standards. It is cooked slowly over 40 days using mature 40–50 year-old vines — a preparation method that significantly affects clarity and stability of the experience.

With this unique cooking process, the outcome is completely different.

All essential components are kept, harmful ones are avoided. (Bad trips are triggered by heavy metals, mold, toxification, added components and young plants...)

𖥸 MODERN SCIENCE WITH INDIGENOUS WISDOM 𖥸

OUR Ceremonies in Chapada dos Veadeiros

Our Ayahuasca ceremony usually lasts between 5–8 hours.

After drinking the medicine, effects begin within 30–60 minutes. Participants may experience:

  • Heightened emotional awareness

  • Visual imagery (with eyes closed or open)

  • Physical detox (vomiting or sweating)

  • Deep introspection

  • Access to memories or unresolved experiences

  • Moments of clarity or insight

Our role is not to “control” the experience, but to provide a safe container so that whatever arises can be processed properly.

Because we work in a trauma-informed way, participants are never forced into catharsis or pushed beyond their capacity. Regulation and safety come first.

  • Not all Ayahuasca is the same.

The Ayahuasca we serve has been laboratory tested for purity in São Paulo and is considered #1 in the world in terms of purity standards. It is cooked slowly over 40 days using mature 40–50 year-old vines.

    Why does this matter?

Because preparation directly affects clarity, stability, and physical tolerance. Properly prepared medicine results in a deeper but more grounded experience, with significantly less unnecessary physical overwhelm.

    Quality changes everything.

  • Yes. Ayahuasca is legal for religious and ceremonial use in Brazil.

Brazil has a long history of regulated ceremonial use, and retreats operating responsibly within this framework are permitted. At our center, ceremonies are conducted in alignment with Brazilian guidelines and in a structured, private retreat setting.

  • It means we understand how trauma can surface in altered states.

    In practice, this means:

    • No one is forced into emotional catharsis

    • No pressure to “break through”

    • Respect for personal boundaries

    • Active nervous system regulation if someone becomes overwhelmed

    • Integration support after ceremonies

Ayahuasca can bring up early memories, suppressed emotions, or intense psychological material. We are trained to recognize these responses and guide them safely.

The goal is not intensity. The goal is integration.

  • It depends on your intention.

    • 1 ceremony can open insight.

    • 3–4 ceremonies allow deeper layers to surface.

    • 5 ceremonies (over 14 days) often allow patterns to fully unfold and integrate.

Short retreats can be powerful, but longer immersions give the nervous system time to regulate between sessions, which often leads to clearer long-term results.

We help you choose the right structure based on your history and goals.
